This year's National Day Parade (NDP) theme is "Together, Our Singapore Spirit".
The theme song is titled "The Road Ahead" and is written and composed by Singaporean Linying and Evan Low.
It is performed by four Singaporean singers: Linying, Sezairi Sezali, Shye-Anne Brown and Shabir.
According to Linying, she was inspired to write the song as she wanted to encourage Singaporeans to count on one another in these challenging times where, for many listeners, the road ahead remains uncertain.
Live-action and animation
The accompanying music video stars all four singers and is directed by Huang Junxiang and Jerrold Chong.
This is the first NDP music video to blend live-action and animation.
