The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 11 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on Sunday (July 4).

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 62,617.

One new locally-transmitted case

There is one case of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, who is currently unlinked.

There are 10 imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Nine were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while one developed the illness during SHN or isolation.

Decrease in community cases

The number of new cases in the community has decreased from 95 cases in the week before, to 26 cases in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has also decreased from 17 cases in the week before, to two cases in the past week.

The seven-day moving average number of all linked community cases and all unlinked community cases are 3.4 and 0.3 respectively.

24 active clusters

There are currently 24 active clusters, ranging between three and 93 infections each.

As today's sole locally transmitted case is currently unlinked, there are no additions to the list of active clusters.

With no new cases linked to the Case 63,931 and Tektronix clusters for the past two incubation periods, or 28 days, these clusters have been deemed closed by MOH.

Progress of vaccination programme

As of July 3, MOH have administered a total of 5,706,932 doses of Covid-19 vaccines under the national vaccination programme.

The total number of doses administered was 5,706,932, covering 3,550,181 individuals.

2,156,751 individuals have received their second dose and completed the full vaccination regimen.

Condition of hospitalised cases

There are currently 103 cases warded in the hospital, most of whom are well and under observation.

In addition, there are 10 cases of serious illness requiring oxygen supplementation, and two are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).
