The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 125 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Sunday (July 25).
This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 64,179.
117 locally transmitted cases
117 of the cases are locally transmitted, of which 79 are linked and 38 are unlinked.
Among the linked cases, 46 are from the Jurong Fishery Port cluster, while five belong to the KTV cluster.
43 of the linked cases have already been placed on quarantine, while 36 were detected through surveillance.
Among today's cases are two seniors above 70 years old who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated. They are at risk of serious illness, said the ministry.
Eight imported cases
In addition, there are eight imported cases who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.
Four were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while four developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
