Forget custom AirPods cases — how about cute TraceTogether token cases instead?

A Singaporean crocheter is selling handmade covers for TraceTogether tokens in a number of different designs, including a set that looks like sushi.

On Sunday (May 30), local self-taught crocheter Leane — who runs the Etsy shop craftsbyleane — unveiled three sets of designs of her handmade TraceTogether token covers.

Sushi set — S$18.90 each

One of the three sets, designed to look like sushi, comes in three styles: salmon sashimi, ebi, and tamago.

A loop secures the token within the cover, and also allows the token to be used as a keychain.

The covers also have a small opening on the back, so that the QR code of the TraceTogether token can be scanned without removing the cover.

Each sushi token cover is selling at S$18.90 on Leane's Etsy shop or via Instagram direct message.

Available in three models

All of Leane's TraceTogether token covers are available in three models, to fit the different sizes of TraceTogether tokens: regular, slim, and mini.

They are all made of 100 per cent mercerised cotton, which is a process applied to fibres like cotton to allow for more dye absorption and better resistance to multiple washings.

The colours of all of the covers are also customisable.

Two other cover designs

Two other designs of TraceTogether token covers are also available.

One is a duo-coloured design, which is selling at S$12.90 per cover.

The final design is a solid-coloured design.

Both the duo- and solid-coloured designs are also designed with openings for the QR codes of the TraceTogether tokens.
