A random social media user has caught the attention of Singaporean actress Michelle Chia — and not in a good way.
The incident stemmed from an Instagram Story on June 13, 2021, where Chia reposted a frame from Pornsak.
The video depicted the two of them, as well as three other friends (including celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee), sharing a meal at a place of residence.
June 13 (Sunday) was also the last day of Singapore's Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), where only two pax gatherings were allowed.
When a netizen saw the story, however, they reposted the frame from Pornsak, and questioned why a five-person gathering was taking place on that Sunday.
In response, Chia reposted the netizen, adding, "Because only Pornsak and I were guests. The rest are residents of the unit. Thank you for your 'kind concern.'"
Subsequently, the actress published another Instagram Story, conveying a sharply-worded message in Chinese:
"If you're so free, go and do something useful. Get the situation clear first, before spreading rumours.
Otherwise, you'll be making a fool and a laughing stock of yourself.
But if you can only find joy in such things [being an online vigilante], we'll take it as a charity case, and provide you with some happiness.
Have a good life!"
Feisty.
