Here's some unfortunate news if Lot One has been your usual hangout, go-to shopping mall: The Long John Silver's outlet located at the basement is slated to permanently close from June 25.
June 24 will be its final day of operations.
The announcement was made by Long John Silver's Singapore on Facebook on June 18.
It added that additional outlets in the area can be found at YewTee Point, Hillion Mall and Westgate.
Opened in 1996
The announcement appears to have shocked many customers, as well as triggered a wave of nostalgia.
Some pointed out that the outlet had apparently been around since 1996.
