A family is appealing for witnesses after a man was involved in an incident near Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School.

Appealing for witnesses

In a Facebook post shared by Roads.sg, the incident took place on June 5, at the park connector behind the school.

The victim is a 81-year-old Chinese male, who is currently hospitalised.

A photo shows his son holding up a sign at the park connector with the details of a collision that left his father "seriously injured".

The sign states that his father was wearing a bright orange polo shirt when it happened.

They are appealing for witnesses as information is needed to make a police report, the sign said.

In a previous post supposedly made by a family member in the Love Cycling SG ♥ Facebook group, which appears to have been deleted, the family member said that a cyclist had collided with her father while he was on his own bicycle.

Her 81-year-old father suffered a fracture, and was bedridden.

The incident took place in the morning, from around 9:30am to 11am.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the family at the number provided.
