United Square Shopping Mall only new location visited by infectious Covid-19 cases

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore stands at 62,196.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 20 new cases of Covid-19 infection on Sunday (Jun. 6).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,196.

Six of the cases announced on Jun. 6 are in the community, of which one is unlinked. There are no new cases in the dormitories.

The remaining 14 cases are imported.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community has decreased from 136 cases in the week before to 116 cases in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has also decreased from 23 cases in the week before to 17 cases in the past week.

Tan Tock Seng Hospital & Pasir Panjang Terminal clusters closed

MOH said that it has been monitoring existing clusters for any further transmission.

As there have been no more cases linked to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Pasir Panjang Terminal clusters for the past two incubation periods, or 28 days, the clusters have now been closed.

1 new location added to list of places visited by infectious cases

MOH regularly updates a list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases for more than 30 minutes when they were infectious.

One new location was added to the list on Jun. 6: United Square Shopping Mall (101 Thomson Road), visited from 11:25am to 12:10pm on May 27.
