After homegrown burger concept Hambaobao closed their stall at Beauty World Food Centre in November 2019, the only way to enjoy their food is via their live stations at events.

Now, here's another chance to satisfy those long overdue cravings.

On June 19, Hambaobao announced via its social media pages that it would have a two-day pop-up event at King Albert Park on July 2 and 3, 2021.

The pop-up will be hosted at Yeastside, a cafe known for its baked goods and craft beer.

Lunchtime only

According to their Facebook post, the pop-up will commence at 12pm on both days. However, they clarified in a comment that they will only be serving at lunchtime.

In response to Mothership's queries, a spokesperson said they will be there until they sell out for the day.

Customers can look forward to their popular fish and pork belly burgers that will be priced at S$8.

The Crispy Pork Belly burger comes with English mustard, hoisin sauce, and Japanese cucumber slices.

The What the Fish! burger comes with dory fish, tartare sauce, bell peppers, zucchini, and cheese.

The spokesperson also shared that there is no cap on the number of burgers that each customer can buy.

Customers can order the burgers for takeaway or dine-in at Yeastside. However, due to Yeastside's limited seating capacity, customers may have to be prepared to opt for takeaway.

When Mothership asked if they are looking for a permanent space, they replied, "Hopefully."

Besides the Crispy Pork Belly burger, Hambaobao was also known for their Ayam Buah Keluak burger, which will not be available at this pop-up.
