Great news for those who have been looking forward to 6.6 deals.
Extra Bonus Day on June 6
DBS is having an Extra Bonus Day on June 6 where you can enjoy an extra eight per cent cashback when you pay for online dining using your DBS/POSB card or PayLah!
This means that you’ll be able to go big (and get rewarded) when you order food from your favourite cafes, restaurants, hawker stalls and more.
For one day only, DBS will be rewarding customers with an eight per cent cashback (capped at S$8) for food orders placed online and paid using any DBS/POSB credit and debit card, with no minimum spend.
This includes meals ordered from some 10,000 F&B establishments on food delivery platforms, which includes hawker stalls.
In addition, DBS PayLah! customers will also be able to earn an eight per cent cashback (capped at S$1) on their first merchant or hawker transaction with no minimum spend.
Support your favourite hawkers via PayLah!
Due to the latest Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) measures, the livelihoods of many hawkers have been hit hard.
This is largely due to the significant reduction in customers since restrictions on dining in and working from home have kicked in.
In a Facebook post on May 18, Makansutra founder KF Seetoh even highlighted that many elderly hawkers have been unable to stay afloat and are at risk of permanent closure.
If you want to prevent this from happening, here’s how you can support your favourite hawkers via WhyQ across hawker centres island-wide:
- From now till June 30, DBS PayLah! customers will get to enjoy free delivery via WhyQ (minimum S$20 order)
- For every order placed, S$1 will also go directly to the hawker stall
This means that you can dabao your favourite chicken rice or prata in the comfort of your own home and help these hawkers stay afloat at the same time. Sweet.
What else is on the menu?
That’s not all.
DBS/POSB cardholders can also browse more than 100 dining deals which have been carefully curated, including one-for-one offers and exclusive discounts at some of the best restaurants island-wide.
