Following the launch of the BTS Meal at McDonald's in several countries, fans have streamed to the fast food chain to get their hands on the band members' signature order.

BTS fans stream to McDonald's for BTS Meal collaboration

The BTS Meal is a special collaboration between the wildly popular K-Pop boyband and McDonald's, with recipes and sauces included based on the band members' go-to order.

The BTS Meal consists of a box of 9-piece Chicken McNuggets, one large-sized fries, one large-sized drink, as well as Sweet Chilli and Cajun dipping sauces.

The craze soon hit Indonesia as 32 McDonald's outlets in Jakarta were forced to close temporarily after they were found to have violated health protocols in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, that did not stop fans from getting their hands on the BTS Meal -- or specifically, the packaging of the meal.

Many fans have washed and dried the packaging, collecting them like spoils of victory, with some even framing them up.

But for one fan, who appears to be in Indonesia, her efforts have gone to naught.

She discovered that her father had used the cup packaging from the BTS Meal for his own hobby.

In a video, TikTok user Uwi Anissa was distraught after she found worms in her BTS cup, which her father used to store worms for fishing.

"Look at this... These are worms. That's crazy, I waited so long for this and now it's used to store worms," the user was heard saying in the video (translated).

"I want to cry, oh God, why did my father have to use this to go fishing..." she wrote in the caption.

The video, uploaded three days ago, has garnered over 4.2 million views and 250,000 likes on TikTok.
