25 new cases of Covid-19 in S'pore on May 7, 2021, 4 are locally-transmitted

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 25 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Friday (May 7).

This brings the total number of cases to 61,311.

There are four new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection. Based on MOH's investigations so far, the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.

21 of the cases announced today are imported, and all were placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

15 of the imported cases are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
