19 more Covid-19 cases linked to Changi Airport cluster, including Mcdonald's staff & GoJek driver

Two of them are also engineers at ST Engineering.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported 34 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore on Thursday, May 13.

There are 24 new cases in the community, of whom 20 are linked to previous cases.

Amongst them, 13 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

10 of these 24 cases were reported to be infected with the B1617 variant.

Of the 24 cases reported to be linked to the previous cases, 19 are linked to the Changi Airport cluster which is now the biggest Covid-19 cluster in Singapore.

Here are the details of the community cases that are linked to previous cases:

Yio Chu Kang Primary School student is a household contact of Sengkang General Hospital nurse

Case 63122 is a seven-year-old male Philippines national who is a student at Yio Chu Kang Primary School, but had not gone to school after onset of symptoms.

He is a household contact of Case 63096, a 33-year-old male Philippines national who works as an operating theatre nurse at Sengkang General Hospital.

Case 63122 developed a cough and itchy throat on May 10 night, and vomited the next day.

He sought medical treatment at a GP clinic on May 11, and was tested for Covid-19. As he had been identified as a close contact of Case 63096, he was placed on quarantine on the same day. His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12. His serology test result is pending.

Changi Airport cluster adds another 19 new cases

Here are the details of the 19 cases found to be linked to the Changi Airport Terminal 3 cluster:

Case 63115

Case 63115 is a 46-year-old male Malaysia national who is employed by SATS as an auxiliary police officer at Changi Airport. He is a household contact of Case 63070, a 56-year-old male Malaysia national who is a cleaner at Kopitiam at Changi Airport Terminal 3, and Happy Hawkers at 267 Compassvale Link.

As he had been identified as a close contact of Case 63070, he was placed on quarantine on May 11.

On the same day, he developed a fever and sore throat in the evening, and was tested for Covid-19 on May 12. His test result came back positive on the same day.

His serology test result is negative for the N antigen, which suggests the presence of early infection.

Case 63115 received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Feb. 21, and the second dose on Mar. 14.

Case 63117

Case 63117 is a 45-year-old female China national who works as a service personnel at SATS Premier Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

She developed a cough, chills and runny nose on May 7 but did not seek medical treatment.

As she had been identified as a close contact of Case 62873, she was placed on quarantine on May 10.

Case 62873 is an 88-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

She was tested for Covid-19 during quarantine on May 11, and her result came back positive the next day. Her serology test result is negative.

Case 63118

Case 63118 is a 77-year-old female Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

As she had been identified as a contact of Case 62873, she was placed on quarantine on May 9.

She is asymptomatic, and was detected when she was tested on May 11 during quarantine.

Her earlier tests from Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) – the last being on Apr.30 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection. Her serology test result is pending. She has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63119

Case 63119 is a 53-year-old female Singaporean who works as a cleaner at Abba Maintenance Services Pte Ltd. She is the spouse and household contact of Case 63097.

She developed a sore throat on May 10 but did not seek medical treatment.

As she had been identified as a close contact of Case 63097, she was placed on quarantine on May 11.

Case 63097 is a 62-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner and trolley handler at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

She reported her symptom to MOH, and was tested for Covid-19 on the same day during quarantine. Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12. Her serology test result has come back positive.

Case 63119 received her first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Apr. 3, and the second dose on Apr. 24.

Case 63125

Case 63125 is a 57-year-old male Singaporean who works as healthcare assistant at Raffles Medical at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Transit. He was detected when he was tested on May 10 as part of RRT.

He developed a runny nose on the same evening but did not report his symptom. His pooled test result came back positive for Covid-19 on May 11 and he was conveyed to NCID, and an individual test was done.

His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12. His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on May 4 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection.

His serology test result is negative for the N antigen, which suggests the presence of early infection. He has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63125 received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on March 28, and the second dose on April 25.

Case 63126

Case 63126 is a 39-year-old male Singaporean who works as a retail executive at a retail store at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

He is asymptomatic, and was detected when he was tested on May 10 as part of RRT.

His pooled test result came back positive for Covid-19 the next day. He was conveyed to NCID on May 11, and an individual test was done.

His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12.

His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on Apr. 13 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection. His serology test result is negative for the N antigen, which suggests the presence of early infection.

Case 63126 received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Jan. 21 , and the second dose on Feb. 14.

Case 63128

Case 63128 is a 49-year-old male Malaysia national who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

As he had been identified as a contact of Case 63072, he was placed on quarantine on May 10 and was tested on May 11 during quarantine.

Case 63072 is a 40-year-old male Malaysia national who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a premises maintenance officer at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

On the same day, he developed a cough but did not report his symptom. His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12.

His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on May 1 – were negative for Covid-19 infection. His serology result is pending. He has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63129

Case 63129 is a 33-year-old male Malaysia national who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaning supervisor at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

As he had been identified as a contact of Case 63072, he was placed on quarantine on May 10 and was tested on May 11 during quarantine.

The next day, he developed a cough and blocked nose but did not report his symptoms. His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12.

His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on Apr. 30 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection.

His serology result is pending. He has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63129 received his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on Jan.22, and the second dose on Feb.14.

Case 63132

Case 63132 is a 29-year-old male Singaporean who works as an engineer at ST Engineering.

He is a household contact of Case 63026. Case 63026 is a 66 year-old male Singaporean who works as a SATS passenger escort at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

As he had been identified as a contact of Case 63026, he was placed on quarantine on May 9.

He is asymptomatic, and was detected when he was tested on May 11 during quarantine.

His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12. His serology test result is negative.

Case 63135

Case 63135 is a 44-year-old female Indonesia national who is a foreign domestic worker.

As she had been identified as a contact of Case 63059, she was placed on quarantine on May 10.

Case 63059 is a 63-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

She developed a fever on May 11 and was tested for Covid-19 when she reported her symptom.

Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12.

Her serology test result is pending.

Case 63136

Case 63136 is a 52-year-old female Singaporean who works as a crew at McDonald’s at 744 Bedok Reservoir Road. She is a household contact of Case 63100.

Case 63100 is a 65-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

She developed a sore throat on May 8 but did not seek medical treatment. As she had been identified as a close contact of Case 63100, she was placed on quarantine on May 11.

She informed MOH of her symptom and was tested for Covid-19 on May 11 during quarantine. Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12.

Her serology test result is pending. She has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63138

Case 63138 is a 20-year-old male Singaporean who is a student at Temasek Polytechnic but had been on home-based learning since May 7.

He is a household contact of Case 63100.

He developed a headache and cough on May 11 but did not seek medical treatment. As he had been identified as a close contact of Case 63100, he was placed on quarantine on May 11.

He informed MOH of his symptom and was tested for Covid-19 on May 11. His test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 12. His serology test result is negative.

He has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63139

Case 63139 is a 44-year-old female Singaporean who is a homemaker who visited Changi Airport Terminal 3 on numerous occasions.

She developed a sore throat on May 8 and sought medical treatment at a GP clinic the next day.

She was tested for Covid--19 infection on May 10, and her result came back positive on May 12. Her serology test result is pending.

Case 63140

Case 63140 is a 63-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Certis Cisco as an aviation security officer at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

He developed a runny nose on May 10 and sought medical treatment at a GP clinic the next day where he was tested for COVID-19. His test result came back positive on May 12.

His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on May 3 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection.

His serological test result is pending. Case 63140 received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Jan. 14, and the second dose on Feb. 4.

Case 63141

Case 63141 is a 40-year-old male Singaporean who works as a software engineer at ST Engineering.

He developed a sore throat on May 9, headache on May 10 and runny nose on May 11.

He sought medical treatment at a GP clinic on May 11, and was tested for Covid-19.

His test result came back positive on May 12. His serology test result is pending.

Case 63141 received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Feb. 5 , and the second dose on Feb. 26.

Case 63146

Case 63146 is a 44-year-old male Singaporean who works as a private hire car driver with GoJek.

He visited Changi Airport Terminal 3 on May 6. He developed a fever and cough on May 10 and sought treatment at a GP clinic on the same day, where he was tested for Covid-19.

His test result came back positive on May 12. His serology test result is pending.

He has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63148

Case 63148 is a 24-year-old female Singaporean who is a student at an overseas university and had been on home-based learning in Singapore.

She is a household contact of Case 63059.

As she had been identified as a close contact of Case 63059, she was placed on quarantine on May 10.

She developed a fever and runny nose on May 12 and was tested for Covid-19 after reporting her symptoms.

Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection the next day. Her serology test result is pending.

Case 63149

Case 63149 is an 80-year-old female Singaporean who is employed by Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd as a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

As she had been identified as a contact of Case 62873, he was placed on quarantine on May 10.

She is asymptomatic, and was detected when she was tested on May 12 during quarantine.

Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 13.

Her serology test result is pending.

Case 63150

Case 63150 is a 58-year-old female Singaporean who works as an administrative personnel at SBY Frozen Food Supply. She is a family member and household contact of Cases 63055 and 63074.

Case 63055 is a 59-year-old male Singaporean who is employed by Certis Cisco as an aviation security officer at Changi Airport Terminal 3 while Case 63074 is a 33-year-old female Singaporean who works as an administrative staff at SBY Frozen Food Supply and is a family member and household contact of Case 63055.

As she had been identified as a contact of Case 63055, she was placed on quarantine on May 10.

She is asymptomatic, and was detected when she was tested on May 12 during quarantine. Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 13.

Her serology test result is pending. She has tested preliminarily positive for the B1617 variant, and is pending further confirmatory tests.

Case 63150 received her first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Apr. 3, and the second dose on Apr.24.

New locations visited by cases during infectious period

Over 40 new locations were added to the list of public places visited by cases in the community during infectious period.

The new additions are highlighted in yellow.
