Netflix hit series "Emily in Paris" has started production for its second season — to the delight of junk-show consumers and the revolt of some French, perhaps.
The announcement was made on female lead Lily Collin's Instagram post on May 3.

Other cast members, including Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Lucas Bravo (chef Gabriel, if your memory needs some jogging), appeared in the video as well.
"Emily in Paris" follows American Emily Cooper as she moves to Paris to work in a luxury marketing agency while navigating friendships and relationships.
The romantic comedy received flak from the French for its inaccurate portrayal of Paris and its people, but other audiences around the world (including ourselves) have shamefully admitted to binge-watching it.
With 58 million households tuning in to the series, "Emily in Paris" is Netflix's most popular comedy series of 2020.
For context, "Bridgerton" was watched by 82 million households, "The Witcher" 76 million, and "Lupin" stood at 70 million households, according to Deadline.
