A local digital lock company has filed a police report after their van was stolen from their industrial office in Yishun.

The company put up a Facebook appeal on May 24, asking for help to track down two suspects who "hacked" the van and drove it away.

The vehicle is a Nissan NV350, with the car plate GBD6425Z.

CCTV footage available, but perpetrators masked

According to My Digital Lock Pte Ltd, the incident took place at 10:15pm on May 23, at North Point BizHub.

A police report has been made.

My Digital Lock is also offering a S$2,000 reward to those who are able to locate the suspects.

Although their CCTV managed to capture the incident, the alleged perpetrators were wearing a mask, the company revealed in the comments section of the post.

They also clarified that it was not a marketing gimmick.

Speaking to Mothership, a representative for My Digital Lock confirmed that it was the first time such a thing had happened to them.

Beyond loss of property, the theft has also resulted in them postponing their installation appointments for the rest of the week due to the lack of transport.
