A parcel delivery personnel in Singapore has been caught on camera casually damaging a shipment by dropping the entire box on the ground and taking a photo of the recipient's home to mark the process as fulfilled.

The lackadaisical attitude of the delivery personnel was called out by the delivery recipient who put up an 11-second video on Facebook showing how the goods he paid for via online shopping was treated.

The incident took place on May 26 at around 11:25pm.

The recipient said the goods consisted of two boxes of NanKid4 milk bought from Shoppee and was allegedly delivered by J&T Express.

After dropping the goods on the ground, the woman pressed the doorbell, took a photo of the unit as proof of delivery, and left promptly.

Video evidence galore

The recipient said he has two videos as proof of the rough handling.

One video camera is overhead, while the other is at the doorbell.

Goods appeared damaged already

The Facebook post also wrote that the rough treatment seen on video was likely how parcels are treated before they are brought to the front door of recipients.

The man wrote: "If she can throw in front of my gate, I believe her parcel handling on her vehicle would be the same."

He also claimed that the box was already damaged before it was thrown on the ground.

The video appears to corroborate the recipient's observation.
