What is a croffle (also known as kroffle)?

It's basically a cross between a croissant and a waffle.

One cafe in Orchard Central, Walking on Sunshine, describes it as a combination of a croissant's butteriness with a waffle's textured surface. It is prepared by pressing fresh croissant dough into a waffle pan.

And if you're interested to stuff your face with this hybrid pastry, cafe-cum-hair-salon Walking on Sunshine is offering a kroffle buffet.
