The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 30 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on May 28, 2021.
There are 15 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom eight have already been placed on quarantine.
11 are linked to previous cases, and four are unlinked.
There are no new cases in the dormitories.
In addition, there are 15 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
Amongst the new cases today, 17 are asymptomatic, and were detected from proactive screening and surveillance, while 13 were symptomatic.
New locations as of May 28
MOH regularly updates a list of public places visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases for a period over 30 minutes while they were infectious.
There are 14 new locations added to the list on May 28 and they have been highlighted in the list below.
Some locations include Sushi Tei at Raffles Holland V Mall, Long John Silver's at Tiong Bahru Plaza, and PLQ Mall.
Those who have visited these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit as a precautionary measure.
They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App or SingPass Mobile to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.
There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, according to MOH.
The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
