And no, it doesn't actually cook rice.

We are all prone to shopping sprees, especially with recent recurring sale days like "9.9" and "10.10".

And so was a woman in Thailand, who was immediately taken to a "mini rice cooker" that seemed unbelievably cheap.

According to Khaosod Online, the rice cooker was being advertised for only 64 Thai baht (S$2.79) on Shopee Thailand.

But when she received the product, however, this is what it looked like:

It also, unfortunately, does not cook rice.

According to her Facebook post, she said that when she first saw "mini rice cooker", she thought it was a rice cooker to cook smaller portions of rice.

However, she admitted that she did not read the description, which wrote that the item is a "1:12 model for dolls".

A similar item is also available on Shopee Singapore's website for S$3.24.

There are also a number of other "mini" home kitchen items for sale on the website.

Guess it pays to read carefully before making purchases.
