Meidi-Ya will be opening a two-storey flagship store in Millenia Walk.
According to boarded-up areas in Millenia Walk, it is located opposite Harvey Norman.
The supermarket was previously expected to open in August.
A Millenia Walk spokesperson has confirmed that the opening date is now sometime in late November 2020.
However, Meidi Ya's wine and liquor store is already open. The store boasts over 300 varieties of sake as well as liquor from all over the world.
Supermarket will be biggest Meidi-Ya in Singapore
A Millenia Walk spokesperson previously told Mothership that the Meidi-Ya supermarket, occupying a 24,000sqft space, will be Meidi-Ya's biggest store in Singapore.
It will consist of a supermarket and food hall integrated under one roof.
Level 1 will showcase Japanese cuisine, delicatessen as well as wine and liquor imported directly from Japan. Level 2 will feature a variety of Japanese groceries.
