A new Starbucks outlet in Ginza, Tokyo is actively encouraging you to do work in its store.

The two-storey space appears to be modelled after the concept of a co-working space, with private booths and a "smart lounge" designed for in-person meetings.
According to Timeout, the booths are catered to solo workers who need a little privacy for video calls.

You can even book your slot in advance.
The catch? You'll have to pay to rent the booths, which are managed by workspace developer Think Lab.
The cost is ¥300 (S$3.90) for every 15 minutes, which makes it about S$15.60 per hour.
If you don't mind the occasional peer at your screen, the rest of the store looks airy and conducive as well.
