Uniqlo Singapore will be releasing a line of Sanrio-themed apparel from Aug. 3, 2020.
In celebration of Singapore's 55th birthday, locally themed Sanrio patches will also be given away with a minimum purchase.
Sanrio-themed apparel
Uniqlo Singapore will be releasing two Sanrio-themed collections: A women's collection and girls' collection.
Women's collection
The women's collection includes one of the newer Sanrio characters, Aggretsuko.
The shirts in this collection will cost S$14.90 each.
Girl's collection
The girl's collection will feature characters like the Little Twin Stars and Cinnamaroll.
The shirts in this collection will cost S$12.90 each.
Free Sanrio patches
Uniqlo Singapore is also collaborating with Pew Pew Patches to release three iron-on patches.
These will be available from Aug. 3-31, at all stores except Changi Airport Transit.
The designs, which are modelled after local treats, are very appealing.
Customers are entitled to one free patch with a minimum purchase of two original-priced apparel from the Sanrio collection.
On top of that, you will also have to spend a minimum of S$60.
The patch designs will be given at random, while stocks last.
Local UT!me shirts
Apart from the Sanrio collection, Uniqlo Singapore is also releasing a collection of food-themed apparel.
Designed by local artist Mandy Kew, the shirts will feature familiar dishes such as laksa, roti prata, and chicken rice.
A total of eight designs will be on sale.
These shirt designs will be available on Uniqlo's UT!me app from Aug. 14 onwards.
Customers can also stand a chance to win an exclusive Singapore Food Festival Box containing unique food creations with every purchase of a UT!me food shirt.
You'll have to fill in a form in-store, though.
A free sticker based on the eight designs will also be available for the first 800 redemptions.
You can find out more about UT!me on Uniqlo's website here.
