American rapper Kanye West announced on Twitter on July 4 his intention to run for President of the United States.
Since the announcement on America's independence day, he has spoken up more about his intentions to run, and his potential competitors Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
In response to his announcement, various celebrities — including American comedian Tiffany Haddish and member of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda — have also joined in, saying they would like to run for president too.
One of these celebrities is socialite and heiress of Hilton Hotels, Paris Hilton. In a series of posts, she announced her intention to run under the campaign slogan "#MakeAmericaHotAgain".
In another post, Hilton said that she wants singer Rihanna as a running mate because she thinks "she is beautiful and talented" and she thinks that Rihanna "would make a great VP".
Rihanna is originally from Barbados, and hence not eligible to run for Vice President of the United States.
Hilton added that she wants to turn the White House into the Pink House because "white is just too boring."
