Singapore's near-40-year history of television has produced crowd-pleasers and a number of memorable hits.
These include shows like "Phua Chu Kang", and "The Noose".
If you didn't buy a box set of these TV shows back when DVDs were still a thing, some of these series would have become a faded memory for you.
But soon, you will be able to watch these shows without having to wait a whole day or week for the next episode.
Netflix Singapore announced on July 27 on its Facebook page the whole list of local television shows that will be coming to the streaming service.
Besides the two already mentioned, some highlights include: "Under One Roof", "Growing Up", "The Unbeatables", and "Tofu Street".
Classic Singaporean movies are also part of the list, some of which have not been on free-to-air television for ages.
These include: "I Not Stupid", "Homerun", "Ilo Ilo", "881", "Singapore Dreaming", "The Teenage Textbook Movie", and "Liang Po Po: The Movie".
According to a press release from Mediacorp, these shows will also be part of the Netflix catalogue in Malaysia and Brunei.
