All of the documents that He Ting Ru of the Workers' Party (WP) requested for, as part of the handover to Sengkang Town Council (SKTC), has been sent to her, Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC MP Janil Puthucheary said in a Facebook post on July 21.

The documents include details on managing agents, computer systems, horticulture services, conservancy contractors and pest control.

In addition, information about households in the area and contracts which are due to expire in six months have also been included.

Janil further stated that he also understood that his colleagues at Ang Mo Kio Town Council had also done the same.

He then concluded with the following quote:

"We will work together to make sure the transition to the SKTC team is smooth."

Part of his response to WP's He Ting Ru's request

Janil's post appeared to be part of a response to a request first put forward by WP's He Ting Ru on July 15, for copies of the contracts for Managing Agent services and use of Town Council Management software, to be provided as soon as possible, according to her Facebook post on July 19.

She also added that the request was then repeated at a virtual meeting on July 17 with the Pasir-Ris Punggol and Ang Mo Kio Town Councils.

A physical meeting to further discuss the handover and operational matters was also arranged.

He also noted that the SKTC team was not ready at that point to receive the briefing that they offered, and that they looked forward to discussing the issues further at the meeting on July 23.

One outcome of the July 17 meeting was the arrangement of a point of contact between the two teams.

Following He's confirmation of this contact the on July 18, the Pasir-Ris Punggol Town Council told her that they will be furnishing the requested contracts on July 20.
