It seems like another establishment in Singapore is closing down for good.
On June 16, children edutainment centre KidZania said that it will not be reopening despite more restriction measures to be lifted in Phase 2.
The sudden announcement of KidZania's departure has saddened some parents and their children.
Others, however, are trying to get a refund for purchased tickets or annual passes as well as their children's kidzos, KidZania's very own currency.
KidZania first opened at Sentosa in 2016.
It is an interactive indoor theme park that allows children aged three to 17 role-play and learn about different careers and the concept of managing money.
It is known to have its own language and DiKtionary.
Here are some examples:
Kids can role-play as firefighter, traditional BBQ meat assistant and food scientist, among other things.
KidZania has over 20 outlets around the world including Malaysia, Korea and Indonesia.
Mothership has reached out to KidZania for comment.
