When IKEA resumed business on Jun. 19, the Scandinavian furniture chain also shared that the IKEA Restaurants, Bistros, and Swedish Food Market won't reopen immediately.

But here's some good news for IKEA fans: IKEA's Bistro and the Swedish Food Market will reopen this week.

Bistro reopening on Jun. 26

The Swedish Food Market will reopen on Jun. 23 while the bistro will reopen on Jun. 26.

These reopenings, however, will have its restrictions.

Here are some things to take note of at the Bistro:

  • It will not operate the condiment station temporarily. Packeted chilli and ketchup will be given upon request.
  • The bistro dining area will also be temporarily closed.

And here's what to take note of at the Swedish Food Market:

  • The Bakery and Candy Pick & Mix at IKEA Tampines will have co-worker assistance for picking and packing.
  • All Candy Pick & Mix at IKEA Alexandra will be pre-packed to 100 grams, ready for purchase.

While the restaurants are still closed until further notice, that's not to say that one can't have some of IKEA's popular meatballs.
