On June 19, Phase 2 officially began, and Singaporeans are naturally celebrating — by queuing up for bubble tea.
On April 21, 2020, bubble tea was abruptly taken off the list of essential services, leading Singaporeans to rush to their nearest bubble tea shop to get their last fix for a while.
The result? Long queues, and plenty of tension.
Here's what bubble tea shops look like on June 19, almost two months later.
Koi (Toa Payoh)
Liho & Hollin (Toa Payoh)
Gong Cha (Toa Payoh)
Koi (Junction 8)
Liho (Junction 8)
Koi Express (Bishan MRT)
Bober Tea (Bishan MRT)
If that's too crowded for you, delivery options are still available, thankfully.
