On June 17, 2020, 57-year-old Lau Joo Seng was involved in an accident along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, which left him in critical condition.

Now, his son, Zhiwei Lau, 28, is appealing for eyewitnesses to the accident, and has left his contact number for anyone who wishes to reach out with information.

Accident happened on June 17

Lau's son made a public appeal for eyewitnesses through a Facebook post.

He said that his father is currently in critical condition and on oxygen support after he was in an accident while riding his bicycle on June 17, 2020.

According to the post, the accident happened between 10.20am and 11am, on a street pavement along Ang Mo Kio avenue 3, towards Serangoon North.

A witness said that Lau "knocked into something" and flung off his bike as a result.

Lau's son also said that the family has received two different accounts of how his father fell from his bicycle, and is therefore, appealing for eyewitnesses who may have seen the accident occur.

In particular, he is hoping that drivers who may have driven past the scene during the accident to have footage in their car cameras, which may be used to clarify the details of the case.

Eyewitnesses who may have information on the accident can contact Lau's son directly, via the contact number listed in his Facebook post:
