A huge fire broke out in the evening on May 23 at Sungei Kadut.

According to a Facebook post by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), firefighters were alerted to a fire at 6 Sungei Kadut Way at around 7pm.
The fire was raging from inside a two-storey warehouse, and involved scrap vehicles.
Numerous videos and photos of the blaze have been circulated on social media.
In it, a large column of thick gray smoke can be seen extending into the sky and towering over HDB flats in the vicinity.
The blaze was so huge, it required various equipment to bring it under control—SCDF deployed seven water and foam hets, and a Unmanned Firefighting Machine.
A total of 100 firefighters and 10 emergency vehicles were deployed as well.
The fire was finally doused at around 9:15pm.
SCDF is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Two workers sustained minor injuries
Two workers sustained minor injuries as a result of the fire, and SCDF paramedics subsequently attended to them.
However, they refused to be conveyed to the hospital.
