Disney fans, here’s something that might pique your interest, and get your fingers itchy.

Sophie and Toffee, a local supplier of adorable miniature crafts, has collaborated with Disney to release a new Disney Villains subscription box.

If the villains in the classic cartoons have always drawn you in with their cool aesthetic, sophistication and intelligence, this will be the box of your dreams (or nightmares?)

Disney-themed DIY charms and keychains

With this Disney Villains box, you can craft your very own resin keychains and charms inspired by the popular fictional characters.

The resin moulds come in the shape of each character’s signature style and motif, such as a rose for Maleficent and a skull potion for the Evil Queen, which you can then use as magnets.

Here are what some of the final products look like after the resin sets.

There are even moulds for potion charms you can fill with glittery bits which float when you shake them.

A variety of accessories and materials

If you’re wondering how exactly to craft these charms, fret not. The Villain’s package comes with all the materials you’d need to craft 12 varying items.

These include silicone moulds and metal charms to pour the resin into, as well as glitter and other shaker bits to embellish your Disney “merchandise” with.

There are different colours and three types of resin you can pick and choose from to make your charms and keychains utterly unique.

Really, let your creativity run ~free~.

Here’s a few examples of how the charms are made.

The bezel charms, like the one below, takes around 10 minutes to craft.

Meanwhile, the resin moulds take a tad longer, around 30 minutes. The time needed to craft the resin depends on the type of resin used as well.

Using epoxy resin would require 12 hours of curing.

Different themes

The Disney Villains box is just one of the many Disney-themed craft boxes available on Sophie and Toffee’s website.

The theme changes every three months and each Disney craft box subscription costs US$46.95 (U.P. US$84.95)—around S$67.10 inclusive of shipping.

You can subscribe to the Disney Villains box which will only be available for subscription until May 31.

Following which, the subscription will automatically renew and a new Disney-themed craft box will be sent to you every three months. The themes include Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Little Mermaid and Lilo & Stitch.

Even if Disney might not be your cup of tea, this could still be an ideal gift for friends who like handicrafts, or a bonding activity with your family and loved ones at home.

Sophie and Toffee has other subscription boxes as well, such as their monthly Elves box which costs US$24.95 (S$35.60).

The Elves box in June is called gummy-themed, and you can craft squishy gummies and cute animals along with other sweet confectioneries. The Gummilicious box subscription lasts till the end of May.
