The Ministry of Health confirmed 533 new cases of Covid-19 infection on May 27.

4 community cases

Among these cases, 529 are cases residing in dormitories and four are community cases.

The number of new cases in the community has increased, from an average of five cases per day in the week before, to an average of six per day in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased.

According to MOH, this is partly due to the "active surveillance and screening" of nursing home residents and pre-school staff.

Here are the details of the community cases which involve one unlinked case and a male Work Pass holder who went to work at 19 Pandan Road, Tuas Terminal Phase 1 and Jurong Port after the onset of symptoms.
