The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 465 new cases of Covid-19 infection on May 16.
1,094 patients were reported to have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.
Since May 2
465 is the lowest number of new Covid-19 cases since May 2, when 447 new cases were reported.

The total number of cases currently stand at 27,356.
More discharged patients than new cases
The number of discharged patients has exceeded the number of new cases for the third day in a row.
Yesterday, May 15, the number of discharged patients to new cases was 1,275 to 793.
There was more good news, as the number of patients in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) dropped from 18 to 16.
Don't let your guard down
MOH has been monitoring existing clusters for any further transmission.
On May 15, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong also shared more about the stage Singapore is in with respect to the pandemic.
He said our country is currently in a "good position" to start easing Circuit Breaker restrictions.
However, he also cautioned that as measures are rolled back, we should be aware that there might be an increase in Covid-19 cases in our community.
