On May 9, the Ministry of Health confirmed 753 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore.
Nine Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents, two Work Pass holders and three work permit holders are the. confirmed cases residing outside dormitories.
Northpoint City cleaners have Covid-19
This includes two cleaners from Northpoint City in Yishun.
They are cases 22321 and 22322.
Both cases are close contacts of cases 3003 and 3682.
Case 22321 is a 60-year-old male Singapore citizen.
He had onset of symptoms on April 12 and was confirmed to have Covid-19 on May 8.
Case 22322 is a 77-year-old male Singapore citizen.
He had onset of symptoms on April 14 and was confirmed to have Covid-19 on May 8.
3 other cleaners previously confirmed with Covid-19
On April 17, Northpoint City announced that three of its cleaners were diagnosed with the virus.
The cluster at Northpoint City was first announced on April 25.
A total of 18 Covid-19 cases have been linked to this cluster.
