This is the brand's third store in Singapore.

The Jem outlet will span three floors inside Jem, and about 6,500 square metres.

Despite its apparent size, it's IKEA's first "small-store concept" in Southeast Asia.

But one can probably see why after comparing it to the Tampines outlets, which stands at a whopping 70,000 square metres (including its carpark).

To compare store sizes alone, IKEA Tampines is about six times bigger than the Jem outlet.

The Jem store will not have a playground or built-in warehouse, although the full IKEA range remains available.

More importantly, IKEA's eatery, with its fried chicken wings and Swedish meatballs, will be part of the store.

Great.
