You probably might have heard earlier that DFS is having a discount online sale of up to 50 per cent for selected premium brands, wines and spirits, with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Duties of every product absorbed by DFS Changi on iShopChangiWines.com until May 31.

The good news now? Make that savings of up to 70 per cent for selected products, which can be ordered on iShopChangiWines.com, until end May.

What’s more, from May 16 to May 22, customers can also look forward to flash deals released at 9pm daily, on a first-come first-serve basis. This includes products such as the exclusive Chichibu whiskey and Chateau Villa Bel Air Red.

Beers can also be purchased by the carton from brands such as Carlsberg, Somersby, Suntory and Tiger, along with craft beers until end May.

DFS has also made their Prestige Collection available online, offering over 14 rare and limited wines and spirits at tax and duty absorbed prices.

Free delivery

For a limited period between May 16 and May 22, complimentary delivery will be available to customers who spend a minimum of S$150 instead of the usual required spend of S$250.

Customers who previously spent S$250 during the period of May 1 to May 7 also received complimentary delivery as well as the chance to support hawkers who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic via S$5 food vouchers.

The vouchers can be redeemed at 20 different food establishments which can be viewed here.

The vouchers are also part of DFS Group's partnership with the Facebook group @Hawkers United - Dabao 2020, a virtual community established for businesses to advertise their stalls and products.

Capturing the lockdown mood in DFS Instagram Live videos

You might probably also have watched the series of Instagram live stream videos produced by DFS Group in collaboration with local celebrities previously involved in DFS, Singapore Changi Airport campaigns such as Benjamin Kheng, Desmond Tan, Nathan Hartono, Royce Lee, Irene Ang, Sonia Chew, and Benjamin Tan.

These videos have featured multiple exclusive promotions for rare products such as Chichibu Whisky for instance, which sold for S$450 during a flash deal held on May 7.

But perhaps more importantly, these videos have also captured a mood that many people are now feeling under the circuit breaker -- the need to catch up with friends over video calls, comment on each other’s lockdown appearances, sing songs and play games.

You also stand a chance to win a bottle of Spirit from DFS by submitting a photo capturing your favorite memory of DFS wines and spirits to the photo memory drive on iShopChangiWines.com landing page.

The event is part of DFS Group’s partnership with the Singapore Memory Project, a nation-wide movement that aims to capture and document unforgettable moments and memories related to Singapore, with the aim of connecting contributors with a shared memory.

DFS has held the Liquor and Tobacco concession at Singapore Changi Airport since 1980, with the wines and spirits stores being the first of their kind and a constant feature of the airport.

The memory collection drive runs until June 8, with the three winners scheduled to be announced in early June on DFS Changi’s Facebook page.
