Some restrictions under the tightened circuit breaker measures are being eased up.

Some businesses are being allowed to open once again after stricter measures were implemented from 11:59pm on April 21.

One of the notable re-openings are barbershops, albeit only for basic haircuts.Nonetheless, plenty in Singapore are eager to cut their hair.

Images shared on Facebook and forums showed lines of varying lengths, but talking to some on the ground, Mothership understands a few had already been waiting for more than an hour for their haircuts.

Prior to the re-opening, steps were taken by barbershops to regulate the number of customers that might flock down to their shops.

With some even extending their operating hours to space out potential customers.Environment and Water Resources Minister and chair of the SG Clean Taskforce Masagos Zulkifli called for people to "pace" themselves and not rush out just because some services, including barbershops were now open.
