Sad.

McDonald's Singapore will remain closed till May 4, 2020.

The closure was directed by the Ministry of Health, in order to prevent a possible Covid-19 outbreak.

This came after seven employees, who had worked at nine different outlets, were confirmed with the virus.

While Singaporeans mourn the chain restaurant's temporary closure, a local artist has come up with a series of graphics depicting "famous last words" uttered by consumers.

Wee Xuan Yi posted it to Facebook on Apr. 20, and said that he had created them with one Michelle Racho the night before.

Wee expressed his kudos to McDonald's for biting the bullet and closing their outlets, although fans will miss it sorely.
