On Sunday (Mar. 1), the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced four new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore.
Out of the four, three are linked to the newly-emerged Wizlearn Technologies cluster, with its office based in Science Park.
These new ones are Cases 103, 104, and 105.
Here are their profiles:
- Case 103: 37-year-old female Singapore Citizen
- Case 104: 25-year-old female Myanmar national (Case 103's domestic helper of Case 103)
- Case 105: 49-year-old male Singapore Citizen
Because of their links with the Wizlearn Technologies cluster, Cases 103 and 104 were issued a home quarantine order on Feb. 26, while Case 105 was issued a home quarantine order on Feb. 27.
Kept mum about visiting GP
Here's where it gets interesting, though: Prior to being served their home quarantine orders, all three of them had, according to the Ministry of Health, reported "not having any recent illness".
A few days into their respective quarantine periods, however, the patients "revealed", all on Saturday (Feb. 29) that they had experienced an onset of symptoms as many as nine days prior, and had even visited doctors for their symptoms.
Here's a quick timeline for each individual case:
Case 103:
- Quarantine order served on Feb. 26
- Revealed on Feb. 29 that she first experienced symptoms on Feb. 20
- Sought treatment at clinic on Feb. 25
- Tested positive for Covid-19 infection on Mar. 1
Prior to hospital admission, she had gone to work at Asia Asset Recovery Pte Ltd (2019 Bukit Batok Industrial Park A), and lives at Bukit Batok Street 31.
Case 104 (103's helper):
- Quarantine order served on Feb. 26
- Revealed on Feb. 29 that she had symptoms since Feb. 23
- Tested positive for Covid-19 infection on Mar. 1
Prior to hospital admission, she had mostly stayed at home at Bukit Batok Street 31.
Case 105:
- Quarantine order served on Feb. 27
- Revealed on Feb. 29 that he had symptoms since Feb. 26
- Sought treatment at clinic on Feb. 26
- Tested positive for Covid-19 infection on Mar. 1
Prior to hospital admission, he had attended a business meeting at Toa Payoh Hub (490 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh) with Case 95. He stays at Upper Bukit Timah Road.
Went to Batam
In fact, even after experiencing symptoms from Feb. 20, Case 103 still went to Batam with a colleague, who was confirmed as case 101, and her helper (Case 104) between Feb. 21 and 23.
Hmm.
