On March 10, the Ministry of Health confirmed six new cases of Covid-19.
Six new cases
The total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore has risen to 166 as of March 10 noon.
Of these, 93 patients have been discharged from hospitals in total.
73 patients are still in hospitals with 12 existing patients in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
Here are the details of the six new cases:
As of March 9, the SAFRA Jurong cluster remains to be the biggest cluster of Covid-19 infection.
A total of 36 patients are linked to this cluster, including a five-year-old boy.
Two clusters removed from surveillance
For the past more than 28 days of surveillance, no new cases have been reported in two other clusters — the private business meeting at Grand Hyatt Singapore and the Yong Thai Hang traditional Chinese medicine shop, MOH said.
All 12 patients linked to these two clusters have been discharged from the hospitals.
Therefore, these two clusters will be removed from MOH's surveillance.
Contact tracing will continue for the other clusters.
