In light of Covid-19 travel restrictions, Singapore Airlines (SIA) is offering a waiver of all rebooking fees for tickets issued on or before March 15, 2020, for travel up to May 31, 2020.
This will take place with immediate effect.
In a statement, SIA said:
"Customers can cancel their existing flight itineraries, retain the value of their tickets and rebook their travel at a later date, when they are able to firm up their new travel plans."
The new flight itinerary should be completed before March 31, 2021.
Although all rebooking fees will be waived, there may be additional fees incurred due to a different fare for the new flight itinerary.
SIA will also waive change fees for all new SIA and SilkAir tickets issued from now until March 31, 2020.
Customers can apply on the online form here.
"This new policy will allow customers the flexibility to defer their travel plans and applies to all bookings for travel up to May 31, 2020," they added.
