Amidst the current Covid-19 outbreak, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) will convert the semester exams for 75 per cent of NTU courses into continual assessments, which will be conducted before the examination period.

NTU's revision and examination period is scheduled from April 20 to May 8, 2020.

Examinations for the remaining 25 per cent of courses may also be postponed, if there is a suspension of campus-based activities during the examination period.

Exams may be deferred up to the End of May

According to NTU, continual assessments may be in the form of tests, quizzes, term papers, projects, assignments or other forms of assignments.

For the remaining 25 per cent of courses that still require in-person attendance, NTU said that examinations will still proceed.

However, if there is a suspension of campus-based activities during the examination period due to the Covid-19 situation, these examinations may possibly be deferred up to the end of May.

NTU has advised students to keep their schedule open and available until the end of May, in case there are any changes to final examination dates or continual assessment schedules.
