Rihana Oksana Veovodina, Russian ex-wife of Malaysia's Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V, has taken to Instagram to post yet another set of photos featuring her and her nine-month-old son, Leon Ismail.
Says her son looks like her when she was a child
On the Tuesday (March 3) post, the 27-year-old likened her son's appearance to resembling her more than his father, whom she had previously insisted was the Sultan.
She wrote in the caption "Have you ever heard that the first son is similar in appearance and character to his mother, and the first daughter is like a father?"
She then went on to say that she takes after her father in terms of her appearance, as well as her "character, habits and temperament".
She also said her brother takes after their mother.
She ended her post by saying that when she compares Leon to pictures of her when she was young, she sees "more and more" of their similarity.
As for their character, she said "Leon is an exact copy" of her when she was a child, according to her mother.
Previously said the baby looks like his father
Since revealing her baby's photos for the first time in November 2019 when he was 5 months old, the beauty queen had posted his pictures regularly on social media.
Online commenters had pointed out the similarities between Ismail Leon and the Kelantan Sultan.
Shortly after, however, a palace source told the Daily Mail that the monarch believes the baby could be "the son of any Asian man", and that he "does not feel (the baby) looks like him".
Insisted that the Sultan was Ismail Leon's father
Oksana had previously said that Ismail Leon "looks every bit like his father", and started court proceedings in Russia to declare the Sultan as the baby's father.
She had offered a DNA test to prove the baby's paternity as well.
In a Feb. 12 post that explained her son's name, Oksana had implied that the Sultan was her son's father, saying "it was decided with [her] child's father to name the son after the grandfather Sultan Ismail".
Divorced a year after they got married
Oksana, who recently revealed that she now works as a director of marketing and international communications at a Russian consulting firm, married the Kelantan ruler in a secret Islamic ceremony in June 2018.
But the Sultan divorced Oksana a year later in June 2019, shortly after Ismail Leon was born on May 21, 2019.
