A 15-year-old girl from Sawah Besar in Central Jakarta has allegedly killed her six-year-old male neighbour, according to Kompas.
"Not regretful" about actions, "very satisfied" instead
Sinchew reported that the victim was playing at the suspect's home on Mar. 5 when she asked him to enter the toilet.
She then took the opportunity to kill him by allegedly drowning him in a bathtub, strangling him and storing his body in the closet of her room.
On Mar. 7, she turned herself in at Central Jakarta Metro, admitting to murder.
According to Detik news, the police immediately went to her house and found the body of the boy in a wardrobe.
The suspect revealed that she was "not regretful" about her actions and was "very satisfied", Sinchew reported.

Often watched horror films and abused small animals
Through interrogations, the police found that the girl often watched horror genre films or movies with sadistic scenes.
According to Kompas, one of them is "Chucky", a film about a killer doll in the 1980s, which became "inspiration" for her to kill the boy.
Police Chief at Central Jakarta Metro, Heru Novianto, stated that the girl had confessed that she was deeply affected by a horror movie she had watched a year ago and had tried to commit murder many times.
However, she ended up suppressing those tendencies.
Novianto pointed out that the girl often abused small animals, including dropping cats from high-rise buildings and stabbing frogs with forks.
Indonesian psychiatrist Dharmawan Ardi Purnama said that the girl displays psychopathic signs, reported Tribunnews.
Diary filled with sad drawings and ominous statements
When the police searched the girl's home, they also found her diary, which was filled with sad drawings and ominous statements such as "I'm the teen who couldn't control her emotions" and lyrics from American singer Billie Ellish.

Upon further analysis of the girl's diary, the police also found images of Chucky and Slenderman.
Both fictional characters are known for hurting or traumatising children.

Slenderman is apparently one of the girl's favourite characters, according to Sinchew.
Currently undergoing psychiatric examination
Before the girl surrendered herself, she had posted a viral Facebook status about her murder, reported Detik News.
She wrote:
"The lifeless boy is still in my wardrobe... Many residents are looking for him... Some policemen and household members inspected my house but none of them found it... No one knows I am the culprit. Okay tomorrow, I will surrender."
She then posted a second status with a photo that seemed to have been taken from the perspective of a passenger sitting in the back of the car.
Along with a picture of two policemen in the front of the car, the girl captioned the photo with the words: "The policemen are nice hehe."
She is currently undergoing a psychiatric examination to determine if she has any mental illnesses, while her diary has been sent to a psychiatric department for further analysis.
