U.S. President Donald Trump has enacted a 30-day travel ban on mainland Europe.
This means starting midnight Friday U.S. time (although it hasn't been stated which timezone applies here), travellers arriving in the U.S. from anywhere in Europe, apart from the UK (which, by the way, has more than 450 cases now), will not be allowed to set foot onto U.S. soil.
Exceptions will be made for Americans who undergo proper screening.
The announcement was made during a primetime address from the Oval Office.
Trump said the move was to keep new cases from entering "our shores".
