Persons in the SAFRA Jurong cluster on Feb. 15 were involved in singing activities and classes organised by the People’s Association (PA) at several community clubs (CCs) and residents’ committees (RCs), according to a March 7 update by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
14-day suspension of some PA activities attended by Covid-19 cases
As a precautionary measure to reduce the transmission of Covid-19, there will be a 14-day suspension of all activities and classes attended by the confirmed cases linked to the SAFRA Jurong cluster at the affected community clubs and residents’ committees, starting from March 7.
The classes include singing classes and activities, such as line dancing and qigong.
All PA-organised singing classes at the affected community clubs and residents’ committees will also be suspended for 14 days.

Contact tracing is still ongoing for this cluster and further measures may be implemented as needed.
