On Mar. 14, a community cat was found dead at Bedok Reservoir Road, according to a Facebook post on Sayang Our Singapore's Community Cats.
Hung on dry riser pipe
Community cat feeder Koh Geok Soon mentioned in the post that the cat, fondly called "Ah Gu", was apparently "brutally lynched" and "beaten to death" at around 1am.
Ah Gu was subsequently found dead, hung on a dry riser pipe located on the second floor of Block 710 Bedok Reservoir Road.
Here's what it looked like when it was found:
According to Koh, Ah Gu was abandoned as a kitten 15 years ago.
Since then, she had been taking care of the community cat.
She described Ah Gu as a "gentle and friendly" cat.
The case has since been reported to the police and NParks.
