A Facebook post by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Singapore has recently gone viral again, seven years after it was first posted.

The post was written by then Director of Medical Services for MOH, Satkunanantham s/o Kandiah, on Feb. 9 2013.
As a doctor and surgeon, Satkunanantham expressed his gratitude to nurses in Singapore.
He added that nursing is "not a job that just anybody can do -- it is a profession".

Relatable to frontline workers
The post has since gained more than 17,000 likes, 1,1000 comments and 6,900 shares.
Although it has been seven years, a lot of frontline workers may have resonated well with the post as of late.
Especially after some nurses have allegedly faced discrimination in public as a result of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
