Liang Sandwich Bar opened its first outlet in Singapore in July 2018 and rapidly expanded to Raffles City, Bugis Junction, and Northpoint City.

Now, it seems that the franchise has shut down its stores in Singapore

Its sandwiches are essentially a modern twist to the iconic cong you bing or scallion pancakes, and you can choose from various kinds of fillings like chicken patty, chicken bolognese, cheese and egg tuna mayo and many more.

Many reviews on Burpple liken it to our local roti prata.

Liang Sandwich Bar also has Mandopop king Jay Chou as its spokesperson.

All outlets in Singapore closed

8 Days confirmed the closure in a Feb. 17 report. Calls that they made to the franchise owner went unanswered.

However, its social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram are still running, although they are not kept up to date.

Its latest posts on Facebook and Instagram, featuring a Halloween-themed sandwich, were posted on Oct. 31, 2019.

Over at HungryGoWhere, the stores are also listed as "closed":

Guess if you really miss it, you will have to head over to its Johor Bahru outlet.
