In the midst of a Coronavirus outbreak, hospital staff might find time a commodity hard to come by.

One food court in Yishun Community Hospital (YCH) has been designated as a staff canteen, apparently to give their staff members more of it.

When Mothership went down to the premises on Feb. 13, there was a notice up at Food Canopy saying that the hospital is "going through a busy period" and they are temporarily designating the food court as a staff cafeteria in order to give their staff quick access to meals.

Food Canopy is located at within YCH.

Visitors are also advised to visit other F&B outlets within YCH and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KHTPH).

Mothership understands that Food Canopy is accessible via the back entrance near the link bridge.

No similar notices were put up at Foodfare, though, which is located at KTPH, Tower C.

Staff in uniform and scrubs were also seen at the food court.

Mothership understands that a memo stated that staff may visit other eateries within the campus, including Foodfare.

Mothership has reached out to KTPH.
